The Honeymoon Suite is a non-commercial artist-run project space based in Dunedin. The Suite was established in February 1997 to facilitate the presentation of contemporary art projects - exhibitions, performances, film and video screenings.
The Honeymoon Suite provides a venue for initiatives that engage critical issues within both national and international art discourses.
It is our aim to involve the arts as a vital component of ongoing social and cultural debate.
The HMS website has been established as a way to reach art audiences and communities outside the Dunedin area. As well as extending dialogue surrounding projects facilitated by The Suite, this site provides space for digital works by artists from New Zealand and abroad.
